The Play

I just wanted to agree with what Natalie and Melissa were saying about the play last week. I felt as though each girl wearing the wig represented a different aspect of Alice, while at the same time, uniting as one Alice. I also thought the puppet was effective to make give the play more of a serious sense with the almost eerie movements that it made. This sense helped to show a more realistic side of the Alice in Wonderland story, rather than the playful Disney version. I had never seen a play performed in that way before, so it was interesting to be able to see something different.
